TEL Aviv Israel took at least a dozen to 15 hits from Iranian missiles that eluded the country’s Iron Dome missile defence system overnight and according to reports carried by Hal Turner Radio Show website, Iranian missiles completely destroyed the Netazim airbase.
Turner’s report, repeating Iranian media, claimed some 70 missiles hit the base, destroying 20 Israeli fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets and a “large number” of Israeli tanks in the Gaza Strip. The claims might well be pure war propaganda.
Israel’s propaganda around the event was that only a “few” hits were recorded in central and southern parts of the country while two people were injured from falling shrapnel in the Tel Aviv area.
However, judging by the explosive flashes from the ground seen in numerous videos, there would have been more than minor damage done in Tel Aviv. One video showed a direct hit on a building in the city.
Western media’s message was that the attack was an “escalation of the war by Iran”. Israel’s repeated bombing of Beirut in recent days, the remote exploding of pager devices and the preparations for an invasion were apparently not an escalation.
The US announced it had helped to shoot down the estimated 200 missiles. The entire Middle East is currently surrounded by US destroyers and aircraft carriers, indicating that they were simply waiting for this moment.
Some Iraqis celebrating the Iranian attack were shown on Al Jazeerah, which reported there was concern within the government there that US bases had been used in the response to the Iranian attack.
The US issued an advance warning of the attack after satellite surveillance apparently showed preparations for the attack in Iran.
The hypocrisy of Israel and her allies is breathtaking. Israel, in response to the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on southern Israel, obliterated about a third of Gaza and killed some 40,000 people, according to Gazan health authorities.
Reports we have seen strongly suggest the possibility that the bizarre and spectacular failure of Israeli border security on October 7 was self-inflicted because the Netanyahu government needed a major distraction from its corruption scandals.
And immediately upon that attack a massive propaganda operation was launched, making all sorts of spectacular and horrific claims about babies being cooked in ovens and other alleged atrocities.
A British journalist who investigated the massacre claims for Al Jazeerah said in fact only one child had been killed. What also later emerged was that the IDF itself killed people including Israelis in the counterstrike.
Following is a statement released by Hamas after the latest missile attack. We include it not as an endorsement of Hamas and certainly not Islam, but simply because it will not be run in mainstream media:
“In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. We bless the Iranian missile launches, which are a response to the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
“The Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas blesses the heroic missile launches carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran, targeting large areas of our occupied lands.
“This is in response to the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the peoples of the region and as revenge for the blood of our heroic martyrs: the martyr-fighter Ismail Haniyeh, the martyr His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the martyr General Abbas Nilforoushan.
“We affirm that this dignified response by Iran is a strong message to the Zionist enemy and its fascist government, aimed at containing them and curbing their terrorism. Their crimes, arrogance and violations of international laws and humanitarian norms have exceeded all limits.
“We express our pride in our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran and our appreciation for their stance against the unbridled Zionist arrogance and their commitment to the values of justice, the struggle of the Palestinian people, the Lebanese people, and the supreme interests of the Islamic nation, which are to end the occupation and contain the fascist Zionist enemy.
“We call on all countries, peoples, parties and all forces of our Arab and Islamic nations to unite and confront the Zionist crimes and the expansionist Zionist expansionist project that is against everyone. We call on them to work by all means to liberate our land and sanctuaries from the filth of the fascist occupation.”
