Emails show Biden administration pressured Big Tech, Trump’s FCC pushed ABC to fire host, free speech at risk

The Biden team never had to silence anyone themselves. They just leaned on Big Tech and let the platforms do the work. Emails from the Missouri v. Biden case show officials calling Facebook, Google, and Twitter, pointing out posts and memes they didn’t like, pushing them to take content down. YouTube changed its COVID rules after repeated meetings with the White House. A federal judge already said this probably broke the First Amendment. The government didn’t need the FCC to enforce censorship. Silicon Valley handled it all quietly.

And it is not just social media. The FCC pressured ABC to fire Jimmy Kimmel because of things he said. This is happening on TV, online, everywhere. Hosts, reporters, platforms, all of them can be punished if they step out of line. People think they are free to post or speak, but so much of what we see is curated by invisible pressure from the top. Ordinary Americans don’t realize how much control is being exercised behind the scenes. Question the narrative and suddenly you are shut out.

This is the real problem. When the White House leans on tech, when regulators can push networks to fire someone, there is no line left. Every call, every email, every meeting builds a system of quiet censorship. Free speech is under attack, and it is happening right now. Anyone who tries to speak outside the approved story is already paying for it. The rules that used to protect people are gone. The consequences are not coming in the future, they are here, and they are personal.
