Kharkiv Front. Heavy fighting in and around Vovchansk. Both Russia and Ukraine are sending all available reserves into the melee. Ukraine is preparing a counteroffensive in Kharkiv Oblast to push Russian forces back to the border. Awaiting the assault, Russian soldiers dig in.

Here’s what others had to say:

If Vovchansk falls to the Russian army, then it just proves once again how propaganda distorts the reality of what’s actually going on

@just_a_turtle_chad
According to Western media Kharkov is an insignificant village with no strategic importance.

@ahnafahmed9545
400 Russians because 2*200 = 400. Each Russian fights like 200 soldiers. Forbes is actually praising Russia.

@weeb3277
this guy single-handedly debunked the entire narrative of “human wave” attacks in the Russo-Ukrainian war.

@skynetsecureblockchainYT
According to biden Ukraine is winning and Russia lost 200,000,000 men to Ukraine only losing 3 since the war started.

@GeoPoliticsCommentry
FUNFACT EU: When you need a 14th sanction package, you are proving how Impotent you are, not how Important you are.

@newdefsys
You dont understand. Ukraine reported that they captured half of a battalion. But in Ukraine a Battalion is 4 guys.

@deviantan021
Good analysis. It is amazing how the Russians are doing this one step at the time, without the need for media stunts. They tied up Ukrainians in the North and are progressing everyday in other fronts. And if Ukraine lets up in the north, the north will fall. The pressure is intense, but one thing is certain: Ukraine is never getting these lost territories back.

@Masterdebatorrbator
According to the 35th Cope Brigade and 22nd Facebook Tank Division, Vovchansk is not strategically important.

@ghostm4390
Main stream media got tired of the Ukraine war, most news is biased.
Objective news has become sparse.
Thank you, for posting your updates on the situation in Ukraine.

Among the great powers this whole conflict is an disappointment for the US as they spent a near decade trying to restart the cold war to justify their government’s abusive behaviors. Because Ukraine has done so well holding out for as long as they have.
However on the flip side this is still a huge disappointment for NATO since their equipment, training and money is failing and losing a war, proving to the west that their armies are nothing more than a speed bump meant to slow the enemy until the Americans arrive to save the day… So this shows that the whole rest of NATO are outdated, and basically pointless and the USA leadership’s arrogance in their equipment and Atlantic Allies is almost entirely misplaced.

@aruunmenon
The moment the Ukrainians stopped sending their soldiers into the the meat grinder in the East and switched to the defensive, the Russians opened a new front with mostly new recruits. Seems like a strategy is underway.

@theeternalsuperstar3773
Russian sources claim that the “encirclement” at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant was actually a Russian commando operation to go behind enemy lines and attempt a cutoff of supply to the Ukrainians north of the river. Seeing how the Russians seem to have gained the plant seemingly overnight still hold the plant despite having little in the ways of a connection between the salient and the frontline, this would posit the notion that the Commando operation theory is correct.

@geraldtraveller9804
our media in the netherlands said one week a go that russia lost 500 k soldier and that millions had surrenderd and that russia has only 700 tanks left

@frommordorwithlove4844
The Russian Aerospace Forces used FAB-3000 with UMPC for the first time in the SVO zone
For the first time, the FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bomb with a universal module was used in the zone of a special military operation

@anthonyxiong859
Truth to be told the Russian are closer to a major breakthrough than we thought. Not only did they manage to divert Ukraine forces they also manage to pin down Ukraine forces while making small gains. And from the looks of it the break through will be near the northern eastern parts of Ukraine. And as this all goes down I can say if the Russian are bold enough they will launch a paratrooper operation to make it happen.
