“IT was the meat market!” insisted the slimy but seemingly all-powerful health bureaucrat Anthony Fauci, when asked by media where the Covid 19 virus originated. But what Fauci said in public was contradicted in his private diary.
Six years ago as the Covid “plandemic” progressed, Fauci’s story about the origins of Covid-19 didn’t seem to hold water, especially for US Senator Rand Paul who grilled Fauci at a number of fiery hearings about the virus and its origins.
Then enter President Joe Biden after his dodgy 2021 election campaign. At the end of his presidency Biden issued a “full and unconditional pardon to Fauci for any offences against the United States which he may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014, through the date of this pardon…”.
The pardon was for any matters “arising from or in any manner related to his service as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force or the White House COVID-19 Response Team, or as Chief Medical Advisor to the President.”
Biden and his team were well aware of Fauci’s dodgy dealings around gain-of-function virology research, which was also linked to very dodgy dealings by Hunter Biden in Ukraine, the site of some 40 US bioterrorism laboratories.
But Senator Paul was not going to let that pardon get Fauci off the hook, and had him subpoenaed to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee regarding his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and its origins.
The hearings yesterday took a dramatic turn when Fauci’s attorney was expelled and shocking and incriminating information from Fauci’s personal diary was revealed. Senator Paul released about 1000 pages of Fauci’s personal diaries while running the NIAID during the pandemic.
The diary pages were dug up by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jnr, after an eight-month search.
Diary entries revealed a troubling obsession with fame during the pandemic, as Fauci referenced his rise to celebrity status – even an invitation to appear on Dancing With The Stars – while the pandemic reached 40,000 infections a day. There was even a reference to “fan girling” after a phone call with Barbara Streisand, who he assured could safely take the mRNA vaccine.
But particularly incriminating was that Fauci’s diary notes contradicted the official narrative repeatedly stated by Fauci and his offsiders in regard to the virus’s origins and necessary public health measures. The diary noted that he and other officials knew that the Wuhan wet market was not the source of the virus.
Fauci was also torn to shreds by Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno, as Fauci answered every question by citing his right under the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution to refuse to answer possibly inciminating questions.
Moreno, addressing Fauci, said he had a 50-plus year legacy of public service “but it ends in total and complete disgrace”. He went on to ask Fauci if he would apologize for the people he harmed through his actions. “Do you have the dignity to just say you’re sorry,” he said. Fauci again “cited the Fifth”.
Moreno explained how six years ago, during Covid, he sold off his businesses and ran for election to the US Senate. “Here I am sitting in front of you six years later thinking who the f…. do you think you were doing that. It is a total disgrace what you did to this country.”
Fauci declined to answer more than a 100 times “on the advice of counsel.” Committee chairman Paul then put a contempt resolution on next week’s Senate calendar.
A contempt resolution against Fauci now has a date on it and more than 100 questions from the Republican senators now sit in the Congressional Record, unanswered, permanently, under oath — about gain-of-function funding, about deleted federal records, about cash awards solicited with federal employees, and about 15 million dead.
