In June numerous members of the public gave evidence to support or reject Katters Australian Party bill before State Parliament which creates a special Crocodile Management Authority to protect people from salt water crocodiles.
Labor’s Pagan, ideological, Gaia bent that animals take precedence over human life still lingers in the halls of parliament, on both sides and among tourist operators who profit from crocodiles.
The QPWS by its comments at the hearing do not want to lose control of their inadequate croc management and it seems they too have been infected with Labor’s dangerous ideology.
Perhaps the urbane Irwin family, owners of Australia Zoo, led by octogenarian Bob Irwin take the cake when it comes to protecting crocs at all costs and to hell with humans who might get eaten.
Some of the submissions and presentations particularly by a few pseudo indigenous people that ‘crocs are family members’ were not taken seriously by observers or anyone with a scintilla of knowledge about crocs and just how cunning and dangerous to humans they have become.

Cairns Regional Council and Mareeba Shire Council are the first two local authorities to support the bill and it is expected a number of other councils will get onboard.
