THE name of Dr Peter Daszak’s pet project – the Eco Health Alliance – should have raised alarm bells for people suspecting foul play around the Covid-19 pandemic.
The official objective of the EcoHealth Alliance is to “protect people, animals, and the environment from emerging infectious diseases through scientific research and conservation.”
The core goals of Daszak’s organisation are:
- Prevent Pandemics: Research how animal pathogens spread to humans and identify high-risk disease hotspots around the world.
- Protect Public Health: Stop the emergence of zoonotic diseases—illnesses that jump from animals to humans—before they cause global health crises.
- Promote Conservation: Advance environmental protection and preserve delicate ecosystems, recognizing that damaged nature increases the risk of disease spillover.
- Use a “One Health” Approach: Combine human medicine, veterinary science, and environmental ecology into a single, unified research strategy.
Daszak has gone on X to double down on the official narrative that “both hypotheses are still valid – that 1) the spillover happened in the market, or 2) that the original bat to intermediate host to human spillover happened in a wildlife farm that supplied the market and was then amplified with the 100K people per day moving through the place. This was discussed regularly in 2020 and onwards.”
Really Mr Daszak? So the fact that David Morens, the senior adviser to Anthony Fauci at the National Institutes for Allergies and Infectious Diseaseas (NIAID) had pleaded guilty to concealing federal records during COVID-19 pandemic i.e. conspiracy to commit offenses and to defraud the United States, has no bearing on your protestations of innocence?
Fauci incidentally, has been referred to Department of Justice 6th August 2026 on a charge of contempt of Congress over his refusal to answer any questions by pleading the 5th Amendment.
Really Mr Daszak? Morens pled guilty in federal court on August 18th to a conspiracy charge stemming from a scheme to evade Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and the Federal Records Act in connection with communications aboDaszut coronavirus research grants.
According to his guilty plea, Morens, Co-Conspirator 1 (Peter Daszak), Co-Conspirator 2, and others conspired during the COVID-19 pandemic to defraud the United States after NIH terminated Daszak’s grant.
NIH terminated the grant on the understanding of the risk of bat coronavirus emergence, based on allegations that COVID-19 emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China.
NIAID National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases awarded the grant to Daszak and Eco Health Alliance, who made a sub-award to the WIV.
UK media headlined this as “British scientist plotted to cover up Covid lab leak”, going on toe explain that Daszak is “accused of trying to shut down the theory that coronavirus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.“
Now why would you allegedly try to do that Dr Daszak? We’re looking forward to your testimony.
