About a dozen Jewish Democrats in Oakland County, Michigan, were invited to join an MSNOW (far-left cable news network) discussion with host Elise Jordan about Michigan’s highly controversial Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed. The comments on social media under the video of the conversation that was posted on X, remind us of how hatred for Jews is fueling his campaign.
In Democrat-majority Oakland County, Michigan, signs showing Democrats’ support for Mike Rogers are popping up in neighborhoods where Jewish people are living.
I live in a very liberal southeastern MI neighborhood.
I am shocked by the number of @DemsForMike (Democrats for Mike Rogers) & Mike Rogers signs in front yards everywhere!
If my Dem neighbors are indicative of how Dems will vote-
@AbdulElSayed is going to LOSE BIGLY! https://t.co/11vGJXf0va

During the televised panel, Jewish Democrats are asked to say who they will vote for in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race in November. The race is between moderately conservative Republican candidate Mike Rogers and Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, who has made no secret of his disdain for Israel and repeatedly makes excuses for terrorist attacks against innocent Americans by Islamic terror groups.
The first Democrat woman on the panel begins, saying, “I want so badly to believe him.” Is she asking if she believes that he despises her, or does she want to believe that he meant it when, after Temple Israel, an Oakland County synagogue was recently attacked by an Islamic terrorist, threatening the lives of 41 small children, when El-Sayed responded by defending the motives of the accused terrorist, saying, “Hurt people hurt people”?
The man in the yellow sweater jumps in, saying he was “in between two fundamental principles of yourself, and you got to pick one,” adding, “You can’t vote- you got to pick one. And which one to pick? Whose ox is gored, I guess is the best way to put it.” The women on the panel mostly agree with him.
Next, the man in the yellow sweater explains how he’s being forced to make the difficult decision of putting the security of our nation at risk and the growing hatred and resentment against Jewish Americans over his child’s mental illness. “I have a transgender daughter who is 30, and I’m Jewish, and Israel is incredibly important to me. But a vote for Mike Rogers is a vote for my kid being oppressed and her rights being taken away.” There is, of course, no evidence to back up his claim, unless, of course, his child is considering joining the military and wants to continue to dress in drag, which is no longer allowed in our U.S. military.
And then, the woman in the blue sweater, who is only possibly two generations away from the worst genocide in history against her own ancestors, says something quite remarkable, “It’s like Sophie’s Choice, quite honestly.” In other words, choosing a candidate who has a proven track record of supporting the Jewish community and Israel, or a candidate who hates Israel and feels no sympathy for the Jewish community when their temple was recently attacked in Oakland County, Michigan, by an Islamic terrorist, is the equivalent of her having to decide which child to send to the ovens.
The woman in the pink sweater has decided that she will sit this election out, because she “has daughters”: You know, I love some of the things he’s talked about. I think it’s a little idealistic and a little extreme, and I’m a little concerned. But, you know, my big block is it just comes down to this whole thing with Israel. And I do worry about everything.
The woman in the white sweater chimes in, “But I have daughters. I cannot do that. On one hand I’m like, okay, well, the choice is clear. But then all of a sudden it’s like I can’t vote for Abdul, because once again he’s going against something that’s innately me. The woman doesn’t make it clear if she’s referring to her daughters being targeted by the rising antisemitism from her own party or if she doesn’t want to see her daughters oppressed by possibly being forced to wear a hijab in public.
“The way I feel today, I just won’t pick either,” a woman wearing a black tracksuit says about skipping the race between Rogers and El-Sayed, adding, “I just — I mean, I’ll go and vote, because I think it’s so important.”
Elise Jordan addresses the panel, “You’re committed Democrats! You wanna vote for the Democratic candidate, but you just can’t.” Several Democrat voters agree with her. The woman in the white hoodie responds, “They’re tying our hands.” Who, exactly, is “tying her hands”? She doesn’t elaborate on who, exactly, is tying her hands. Does she mean, like, how Hamas literally tied the hands of young girls attending a concert on October 7 in Israel, as they were dragged away by the Islamic terrorists, where they were repeatedly raped and murdered for the crime of being Jewish?
Elise Jordan asks, “What could he — yes, and like, what could he do, if anything, to get you over the edge? But it doesn’t sound like there’s really anything. The damage has already been done.” And then, one of the Jewish Democrat women makes what appears to be a ridiculous statement, given El-Sayed’s repeated opportunities by several media outlets to denounce his hatred for Israel: “I would love for him to make a definitive statement. Like, just say: I would like everyone to know I support Israel. You know, I support the Jewish people. You know, their right to exist without hatred.” The MSNOW host asks, “Would you believe it?
And then, the truth comes out. The Democrat Jewish voters want so badly to walk away from El-Sayed, but their misguided hatred for President Trump, who placed the first American Embassy in Israel, elevated his Jewish son-in-law to one of the highest positions in his cabinet in his effort to create historic peace deals in the Middle East, has a Jewish daughter, grandchildren, is unmatched. “I think this election, if El-Sayed was on the ballot, you’d probably have the highest percentage of straight-ticket Democratic votes in the state. I can’t wait. The Democrats are just — they’re chomping at the bit to vote anything anti-Trump.”
Finally, a brave woman on the panel reveals the antisemitism so many college students are experiencing on college campuses across the United States. “My daughter goes to the University of Detroit Mercy. She’s in her second year of law school, and she has to hide being Jewish. And it’s a hard thing to say. When October 7th came, horrible for her. Lots of tears. I may go to my grave. And then, incredibly, she feels the need to apologize to her fellow Democrat Jews for wanting to protect her daughters from Jew hatred, “Sorry, guys.” You should not apologize. No, you should not apologize. You deserve to vote and be comfortable.
Back in the studio, the MSNOW host recaps her conversations with the panel, “There’s very little that will make them budge at this point. The aftermath of the Temple Israel attack back in West Bloomfield in March, and then Abdul El-Sayed, he did a video, and he had in it the line “hurt people will hurt people” that came up repeatedly. They fear that he is not the ally that they need for Israel policy, but also they’re really concerned about antisemitism and feel threatened right now, especially in the aftermath of that attack.”

Here is how just a few of the people on “X” commented under the video:
A former Democrat, ex-Muslim, and survivor of Sharia Law joins the conversation to show his support for Mike Rogers in the upcoming election.

The rest of the comments, coming from leftist accounts, revealed the hatred the left has for Jews, like the account that literally identifies as “Lefty Lucy,” who suggests the Jews in this video should go back to Israel if they don’t like being attacked in the United States.

This person suggested “we need to start treating” these Jewish voters as the Nazis did in 1944, calling them “Jewish Supremacists,” as he or she carefully chooses the characters they type, so as not to be flagged by “X” for hate speech.

Another “X” user says they should “go back to Israel,” warning the panel of Jewish Democrats that it “won’t be getting better” for them “in the future.”

And this sick user mocks the mom who worries that her daughter is being targeted at school because of her faith, posting an image from a popular movie with the evil character crying.
