The elites who run a large northern Dallas suburb have provoked national anger after ignoring the will of the people and submitting to political Islam.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a brave Christian migrant who survived Sharia law in Iran walked straight up to the McKinney City Council and delivered a blistering, unfiltered warning that had the chamber erupting.

Eddie Isa (also referred to as Eri Issa / Edwin Isagholi), an Iranian-born Christian and self-described “Sharia law survivor,” stood before the packed August 4, 2026, meeting and told the council exactly what soft Westerners refuse to hear.

“I’m a Sharia law survivor from Iran,” he declared. “I’m TELLING YOU, this is a BAD idea, and you’re going to REGRET not listening to people like us who lived under Sharia law!”

Other brave McKinney residents spoke up as well, including this woman, who brought the house down with this epic speech that would make our Founding Fathers proud.

The Texas Scorecard reports that despite these incredibly daring and explosive speeches by residents, McKinney City Council members later voted 7-0 to approve plans for the Islamic Center. A UNANIMOUS vote!

Per the outlet, the fix was in from the beginning. Councilman Patrick Cloutier previously stated that members would approve the plan, claiming during a July 21 meeting that members’ “ministerial” duty is to allow property developments that meet zoning requirements.

The McKinney Islamic Association sought approval for a larger campus on roughly 5-5.5 acres along Virginia Parkway near residential neighborhoods and a high school.

Approved plans include a 15,000-square-foot mosque, a 10,000-square-foot classroom building, and a 7,000-square-foot gym.

Why do they need all this space?

X users reacted with fury upon learning what happened in a supposedly right-leaning community.

For those worried about the imposition of Sharia law or other elements of radical Islam being imposed in McKinney, prominent Muslim leaders in the Dallas area are not exactly tamping down concerns.

Conservative Texas political commentator Kaylee Campbell spoke with Azfar Syaeed, the former president of the Islamic Center of Frisco, days following the McKinney vote about these concerns.

Notice how he dodges many of her questions and vaguely says they will “follow the law.”

Campbell also points out a slippery slope in such Islamic Center projects and asks a very good question: When you run out of space in an Islamic center, you want a mosque. What happens when you run out of space in the mosque?
