Trump entertained club members with caviar, king crab and jungle performers—including a man in makeup and a skirt—three days before the election.
President Donald Trump hosted a jungle-themed Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago with caviar, Alaskan king crab and a live zebra—three days before the midterm elections.
The Daily Beast’s report also showed a male stage performer wearing makeup, a skirt and a headdress.
“Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago was jam-packed with high-drag at his jungle-themed Halloween party on Saturday night.”“Pictures and social media posts show the party, held just three days before midterm elections where voters say affordability is a key issue, was a camp, spandex-and-glitter-filled affair far removed from the price of gas.”— The Daily Beast
“Look at all my rich members,” Trump said to reporters at the Oct. 31 party, according to The New York Times’ on-scene account. “They spent all day getting ready. Look at these guys.”
The ballroom held hundreds of guests. Animal prints covered the setting, while performers wore full-body costumes depicting leopards, tigers, zebras and snakes. Party footage showed them surrounding a drummer onstage.

Photos also showed a zebra and miniature pony in a pen at the club. Trump arrived in his usual navy suit and red tie.
“Trump told reporters he had only had about 10 minutes to get ready for the party, and was dressed as himself.”“Other guests leaned into the theme which saw the room washed in deep green lights and filled with performers and guests in elaborate or barely-there costumes.”— The Daily Beast

“I came as Donald Trump,” he said.
“In the three days before midterm voting, Trump hosted a freakish caviar party with drag dancers, live zebras and an artificial jungle at Mar-a-Lago,” Max Blumenthal said in the supplied post.
Trump offered his own description of the crowd: “These are the biggest guys on Wall Street,” he said.
