Vice President JD Vance misspoke while delivering remarks on Monday, accidentally referring to the far-left as the “fart left.”
The Freudian slip came during a Monday campaign stop for North Carolina Senate Nominee Michael Whatley.
Vance first decried Democratic Senate Nominee Roy Cooper as someone who “bends the knee to the far left.”
He continued, “because we need somebody who will fight back against the fart left, we need Michael Whatley in the United States Senate.”
“Now you may not have even heard that, but I actually— I usually don’t misspeak, but I just called them the fart left, not the fart left,” Vance said, smiling. “I promise that was an accident.”
“So, to the fake news who will accuse me of bad language, I promise I did not mean to call them the fart left! I meant to call them the far left,” he added before continuing the speech.
It wasn’t nearly as bad as House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) once vowing to “fart hard for the freedom to vote,” however.

It’s fitting because their policies are crap.
Some members of the fart left might include Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who farted loudly during a speech on the Senate floor recently.
Or disgraced ex-Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who famously farted on live TV back in 2019.
