Topher Field charges that the Liberals voted for the hate speech laws with Labor in order to attack and prosecute One Nation in European style to keep them out of parliament, a benefit to both parties.
If the Nationals now fail to see their big opportunity of forming a coalition with One Nation to go on and take government at the next election then the Nationals should be disbanded.
Is it no wonder Labor and Liberals were in closed-door discussions for hours on Monday scheming to get rid of One Nation.
There is another plan at foot by Liberal Party donors. Billionaire Gina Reinhart, a Liberal donor, is bankrolling One Nation for the next election campaign, but there is a catch. One Nation has to give its second preference to the Liberals in every seat which on its present trajectory One Nation could help re-elect quite a few Liberal candidates.
Then there is the omnipresent Jewish lobby backed by Netanyahu bankrolling their campaign and ensuring the Liberals don’t get off track.
What an opportunity for the Nationals who will probably replace present leader David Littleproud before the election. Hanson, who dislikes Littleproud, might even demand it before any coalition were to be formed.
Keep an eye on Nationals Senator Matt Canavan who would take on the leadership in the blink of an eyelid and his political persona would appeal to Pauline Hanson, not forgetting he is mates with Barnaby Joyce.
Littleproud said there would be no coalition with the Liberals while Ley is leader.
Will the Nats be silly enough to wait for the back room Liberal boys from the big end of town to replace Ley as leader and then jump back into a less than cosy relationship with Andrew Hastie as leader? If Hastie’s fast deserting support base asked war hero Ben Roberts Smith should they keep supporting Hastie, the answer would be “keep right away.”
Hastie, reportedly saw no action in Afghanistan, then outed himself as the anonymous court informant in the corrupt prosecution of Ben Roberts Smith VC for killing an Afghan civilian.
Will the Nats rural base support a One Nation coalition? You betcha.
