In terms of numbers, Donald Trump granted fewer acts of clemency compared to many of his predecessors. Here are some statistics:

• Donald Trump: 237 acts of clemency (143 pardons and 94 commutations).
• Barack Obama: 1,927 acts of clemency (212 pardons and 1,715 commutations).
• George W. Bush: 200 acts of clemency (189 pardons and 11 commutations).
• Bill Clinton: 459 acts of clemency (396 pardons and 63 commutations).

These numbers show that Trump granted fewer clemency acts than recent presidents, despite the media speculation at the time.
