Grand theft bureaucracy: Joyce outraged by crooked .5m Net Zero swindle of Upper Hunter aged care project
Climate and Energy Minister Chris Bowen, like his chief bureaucrat Kaiser, is getting rich by making other Australians poor. This climate clown thinks Australia rolling out massive acreages of wind and solar farms will “help cool the planet” by up to 2 deg.C.

“I’M going to give you an example from my electorate how perverse this whole Net Zero swindle is, and I mean swindle in the fullest form of the word, long-time National Party MP Barnaby Joyce posted on social media this week.

Department of Climate, Energy, Water and Environment secretary Mike Kaiser, who recently slithered down from Queensland to take over the government-legalised net zero swindle of urban and rural Australians with the ultimate objective of creating a UN-compliant, welfare-dependent Agenda 2030 eco state. Kaiser is on a salary package of more than $900,000.

Joyce was speaking with one of the members of a Denman district not-for-profit aged care housing agency which has a 10-acre site to build an urgently needed new facility for the district.

Members of the organisation were “totally astounded” when their first “ecological assessment report” was sent back to them. It’s initial assessment for “carbon offsets owed” was a handy little cut of just $3.5 million for the “carbon offset market”.

The spokeswoman for the group said it was strange that ecologists assessing the site noted that 200 years ago there was “an ancient forest” around Denman and parts of the Upper Hunter region “so we have to pay it back …. so the government rating for that was $437,158.40,” she said.

“But we’ve been told we can go to the private market for other people who have land to buy carbon credits to assist, so this is really derailing our project.”

Joyce went on to explain in his post that there were three issues in the realm of government “for which we are having no success for one, partial success for the other, and a complete rip off for the third.”

The first was the housing crisis: “You cannot fix a crisis in cost if you keep on insisting on the costs that made the crisis. You are either lying or foolish in the earnest protestings you make about the housing crisis when all levels of government refuse to relent on any of the regulations that underpin the cost of housing.

“Today, I am going to show you a classic example of an outrageous regulation and a massive cost in a small town in the Upper Hunter.

The second issue is aged care: “People want the dignity to retire to the district that they lived in, so as to have that line of communication with the countryside and the community which they love.

“Now to be fair, in the New England and the Upper Hunter, I am having some success in this and I’d like to thank the Government for the $9.5 million dollar grant to rebuild the Denman community-run aged care facility.”

The third issue is Net Zero: “Of that $9.5 million to build units for the aged, the frail and sadly the dying, we have to send $3.5 million off for carbon offsets.

“That is a green tax for a 10 acre paddock with a couple of trees on it. Who is the greaser that gets that money? Who collects commission on the way through? How did politics become so outrageous to inflict this cost on an aged care facility in a small country town?

“This $3.5m dollars could alternatively build more units for the aged and as they move into the facility result in vacant houses for those that need a house.

“A 3.5 million dollar Net Zero cost for a community aged care facility for carbon offsets, what an outrage! Apparently this huge swindle on Denman is going to change the rain as absurd as that is, but we all just sit back and let it happen to us.

“Well, how about we just stop and do what’s right for the Australian people instead?

“When are people in Canberra going to realise that the Net Zero gig is over with the community but hung onto by politicians and those making an obscene bucket of money from faux virtue with inspired guilt as the reason.”

CairnsNews contributor George Christensen says Joyce and another former Deputy PM, Michael McCormack, have “fired the shot that may finally bring down the biggest political fraud of our time: Net Zero.

“Joyce has called the push for Net Zero a lunatic crusade. McCormack says it’s dividing families and tearing the regions apart. They’re both right. And they’re both done pretending this globalist climate fantasy is in Australia’s national interest.

“Let’s call it what it is. Net Zero is economic self-harm dressed up as virtue. It’s a $9 billion-a-year shakedown to appease the climate priests in the UN and the WEF, while you cop the bill through soaring power prices, vanishing jobs, and hollowed-out towns.”

Cairns News suggests that Barnaby Joyce and the people of the Denman region, make their aged care building project “ground zero for a national rebellion against net zero extortion”, and build the facility and simply refuse to pay.

That would also require the co-operation of the Musswellbrook Shire, but whether or not the 12 councillors (11 of whom call themselves independents) could sway their state-government controlled bureaucratic paymasters in that direction is a big call.

So-called Local Government Departments are beholden to state bureaucracies and councils merely rubber stamp the policies they impose.
