At The Gateway Pundit’s American premiere of American Martyrs on Saturday night, award-winning journalist Lara Logan put a question to Dr. Simone Gold that a lot of MAGA households are whispering about right now: what do you say to conservatives who are angry at the Trump administration, tired of the fights, and ready to stay home in November?
Gold did not sugarcoat it.
The founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, the emergency physician and Stanford-trained lawyer the Biden Justice Department railroaded after January 6, told the packed Cohen Pavilion crowd that sitting out the midterms is not a protest. It is a gift to the same machine that already built an “infrastructure of tyranny” inside the federal government.
Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, has spent years warning that medical propaganda and a weaponized state go hand in hand.
Logan, the former CBS chief foreign correspondent who now hosts Going Rogue, described what she called an information-warfare campaign aimed at turning conservatives against conservatives. She said the feed is flooded with the same message no matter what she posts: Trump failed, RFK Jr. failed, stay home.
Lara Logan: “I wonder what we see online… I’m sure by now that you’re aware—I mean, you’re a doctor, you’ve been to prison, right? It’s ridiculous. But if you’re aware that there’s an online campaign, an information warfare campaign, to turn conservatives against conservatives, and there is a campaign to get people to stay home and not vote… I post anything, I could be posting about aliens living on Mars and there’s 400 people saying things that are about why you should not go and vote in terms of why Trump is a failure and so on… what is your assessment and what is your advice?”
Gold answered the question as someone who has already lived the consequences.
“People, I think, especially on the MAGA conservative side, are many times disappointed with Trump for various reasons,” she said. “And all I say to people is, my goodness, just go watch the Kamala video. We have forgotten. I’m so angry when I hear people say, I don’t want to vote, I’m disappointed.”
She said she understands the frustration. She also said the expectation was always going to collide with reality. In her lane, medicine, public health, and the federal agencies that Big Pharma has captured, she argued that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was handed an impossible job.
“Big pharma runs the federal government, not the other way around,” Gold said. “Trump, to some extent, has an impossible job. Just remember what it would have been under Kamala.”
That last line is the whole ballgame.
Gold was sitting on the panel with America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Jennifer Cruz, two Brooklyn figures she said she still looks up to.
She used the moment to remind the room who she was on January 6: not a rioter, not a tourist, not a prop. A private citizen with a permit, there to give a speech on medical tyranny after two to three years of trying to break the COVID fear campaign that she says stripped Americans of their constitutional liberties.
“We used to live in a nation that judged people based on their individual actions,” Gold said. “My individual actions were there to give a speech.”
The Gateway Pundit has covered that persecution from the beginning. In 2022, as we reported, an Obama-appointed D.C. judge sentenced Gold to 60 days in federal prison for a Class A misdemeanor after she spoke with a megaphone inside the Capitol. She committed no violence. She pleaded to entering and remaining in a restricted building. The FBI still gave her the full Roger Stone treatment — a SWAT-style raid on a doctor whose “crime” was telling Americans the lockdowns and shots were a medical and constitutional disaster.
She was later released early from a Miami federal facility. The targeting did not stop at the prison gate. Gold told Saturday’s audience that Congress came after her for speaking out on hydroxychloroquine, that the California Medical Board fought her for three years, and that the New York Bar is still circling six months after she says she stumped their case.
“I myself was tremendously persecuted,” she said. “I was targeted like other J6ers by DOJ and the FBI.”
That is the record she put in her book Selective Persecution: The Legalization of American Fascism, which she plugged from the stage as a historical document of government weaponization, the same theme The Gateway Pundit highlighted when Gold spoke at the VINDICATED conference last year.
Gold named the invisible architecture behind it: not just the household villains, but operators like former Mueller prosecutor Andrew Weissmann and the Obama-era holdovers who, she said, built the machinery long before January 6 gave them an excuse to switch it on.
“There is an infrastructure of tyranny in our country already,” Gold said. “This could not have happened” without that scaffolding already in place.
That is why the stay-home campaign matters.
Logan has been ringing the same alarm for months. On her Going Rogue program she has argued that if Democrats retake Congress in 2026 they will not treat it as a normal midterm.
They will treat it as a chance to impeach, pack courts, and lock in a permanent transfer of power. Her warning, posted on X and YouTube, was blunt: the people telling disillusioned conservatives to sit this one out are not your friends.
Gold’s version was even more personal. She called herself “every woman in America” who showed up on January 6 as a citizen, then watched the state turn the full weight of the Justice Department, Congress, medical boards, and bar associations against her for refusing to kneel.
“If you sit home and you don’t vote because you’re disappointed that Kennedy doesn’t do this or Trump doesn’t do that,” she said, “my God, go watch Kamala Harris’ video.”
