Desperate plea for help in battle against Greens in Ryan, Brisbane and Griffith

Desperate plea for help in battle against Greens in Ryan, Brisbane and Griffith

PRO-freedom group Advance Australia has launched an urgent appeal to help in the campaign to put the Greens last in three critical Queensland seats.

Advance Australia volunteers are currently in Ryan electorate in Brisbane’s west, running their Put the Greens Last campaign.

The Greens are essentially a reworked version of the old Communist Party of Australia, and run a radical social and economic agenda under the guise of protecting the environment or fighting climate change.

Sandra Bourke of Advance Australia told Monica Smit of Reignite Democracy that it was a critical election and the three Brisbane seats – Ryan, Brisbane and Griffith – were crucial in denying the Greens any balance of power in a hung parliament.

Griffith has been held by Max Chandler-Mather for the Greens since 2022 and is now considered a “safe Greens seat” with a 10.5% margin versus the LNP. The seat is traditionally Labor-held.

Another key seat held by the Greens is Ryan, currently held by Elizabeth Watson-Brown since 2022, but only by 2.6% versus the LNP. Since 1972 the seat has been held almost exclusively by the Liberals and only once by Labor.

The Greens have also held the seat of Brisbane since 2022. The MP is Stephen Bates who holds it with a 3.7% margin versus the LNP.
