SO you think the Democratic Party of the US will just walk away from the Trump win with their tails between their legs? Not on your nelly folks. While the Trump Republicans have almost certainly won control of the Senate, Democrats have come from behind to target control of the House of Representatives.
Post election counts for House of Representative district contests have revealed that the Republicans are struggling to reach the 118 seats they need. Counts are very close in a number House seats that Republicans should have won easily and when counts are close you can be assured that Democrat activists will “find” more votes to fill gaps.
The major question is whether the Republican Party county teams can effectively stop any steal. This may be difficult in some states given that Democrat-run courts have ruled against tighter surveillance of late-arriving postal ballots. By September, RNC lawyers had filed 100 election-related lawsuits.
If Democrats do win the House of Representatives, people could argue it’s a good shield against any abuses of power by a party with a “trifecta” of power – that is control of the presidency and the two houses. Indeed, Cairns News argued for third parties to hold the balance of power in the new Queensland State Government.
But US Democrats, through the past two Biden and Trump administrations, have proven themselves merciless and ruthless abusers of power at all levels – inside the House and Senate and outside in the administrative arm of government and courts controlled by their appointed law officers.
A case in point is the so-called January 6th Committee, set up after a gang of FBI operatives staged a major provocation at a Washington rally called by Trump supporters to protest the suspected stealing of the 2020 presidential election.
The provocation involving a group of hooded, disguised men arriving by bus, mingling with the crowd, letting off flash-bangs and smoke bombs then breaking through barriers and smashing windows on the Congressional building. When Capitol police opened the doors, thousands of rally attendees simply walked through.
People captured on video were then hunted down by FBI teams across America, brought before Democrat judges in Washington DC and locked away for months and years. They were labelled by media as “insurrectionists attacking American democracy” and “attempting to overthrow an election”.
Media maintains this narrative to this day, ignoring the real insurrectionists, the Antifa and BLM supporters who rioted simultaneously across the US in the summer of 2020, looting and burning down buildings including an entire city block in Minneapolis.
With Trump back in the White House after winning the popular and electoral college vote and Democrats in control of the House of Representatives, it would be naive in the extreme to expect them and their media gang to sit quietly while Trump goes about his agenda.
As predicted by Roger Stone, the Democrats will move to plan B and attempt to stop Trump’s certification as suggested by the Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, who Stone describes as a communist. If Raskin and his cohorts control the House, “plan B” will be given additional impetus.
