Democrat Senator John Fetterman (PA) gave a surprise speech at the Republican Midterm Convention to introduce Republican Senator Dave McCormick (PA) on Wednesday evening.

The Republican National Committee is holding a two-day midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, dubbed “Trump-a-palooza.

President Trump is delivering remarks on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Central.

“The Republican National Convention, tomorrow night in Dallas, is really “HOT!” The American Airlines Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks, is totally sold out!” Trump said on Tuesday.

“Everybody wants to be there, but we’re really asking only those Candidates that are in tight Races, a little up, a little down, or even, to speak,” Trump said.

“We want to save the “stage” for them. We don’t need people who are up 45 points, and have been in office for 30 years, as much as we love them all!”

“Anyway, I’ll be speaking tomorrow night, and “closing it out” on Thursday!” he said.

Fetterman, who has recently become more of a ‘centrist Democrat,’ made a surprise appearance and praised President Trump.

“Yes, I’m Senator John Fetterman, Pennsylvania. Yes, I’m a Democrat. Why am I here talking to you today? Because, well, I’m a common-sense Democrat. I’m always going to stand with America,” Fetterman said in a pre-recorded video.

“I’m always going to reject the extremes and Socialism and that anti-American way of life,” he added.

“Dave McCormick is the kind of senator that gets the job done, and he’s going to fight for Pennsylvania. I’m proud to count him as my friend,” he said.
