Canadian premier buckles to medical chief trying to shut down ivermectin treatments
Dr Scott McLeod – making the medical establishment very unpopular.

CANADIAN doctor William Makis MD is fighting for his patients’ rights to access various ivermectin-based treatments for cancer against a campaign of internet hacking and various legal threats and intimidation by the head of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), Dr Scott McLeod.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, who came to power on the promise of defending the province against central government power, now appears intent on destroying Dr Makis’ Ivermectin Cancer Clinic. Dr Makis says she is teaming up with extremely unsavory characters to do it.

Dr Makis has produced repeated successful results from his patients using ivermectin and other non-standard cancer treatments but McLeod and his big pharma-controlled College of Alberta Family Physicians will have nothing to do with it.

McCleod gained notoriety by reinstating the medical licenses of two doctors, Fred Janke and Ghassan Al-Naami, who were arrested by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for child pornography, child sex trafficking and possession of videos on computers showing children as young as five years old being raped by adults.

Janke was arrested for trafficking a five-year-old girl, who, it was alleged, would be used in child pornography. The person he was allegedly making arrangements with was actually an alias created by undercover police officers.

In November 2020, the charges against Dr Janke were stayed by the Crown, meaning the Crown suspended the prosecution of this case. Following the stay, Dr Janke requested that his CPSA practice permit be reinstated, which it was, with conditions.

In 2018 Janke was president of the College of Alberta Family Physicians and worked with Scott McLeod to control the medical licenses of all Alberta doctors, Dr Makis says, and then in late June this year his clinic suffered a dual attack:

  1. On June 24, 2025, hackers, hired by Premier Danielle Smith’s Alberta Health Service lawyers attacked and paralyzed his Yahoo Email server and staff spent weeks trying to recover. This was an attempt to cut communications between us and our cancer patients and an attempt to harm as many cancer patients as possible.
  2. On June 24, 2025, the head of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), Dr Scott McLeod, issued a defamatory news release about Dr Makis’ Ivermectin Cancer Clinic on his CPSA website.

“This was a highly coordinated attack between Premier Danielle Smith’s team who control AHS lawyers and CPSA which controls medical licenses of all Alberta doctors,” Dr Makis said in an email.

As CPSA Registrar Dr McLeod runs Alberta’s Medical Board, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, appointed under NDP Premier Rachel Notley in 2017.

“Alberta Premier Danielle Smith promised Albertans to fire him and dissolve the College before she became Premier, but then went back on her promise.

McCleod also persecuted honest doctors during COVID-19 pandemic including Dr Roger Hodkinson, Dr Daniel Nagase and Dr Gary Davidson, who authored Premier Danielle Smith’s COVID-19 Taskforce Report which called for halt of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines but was completely ignored by Smith.

“As many of you already know, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s team has worked closely with their own AHS lawyers and CPSA to threaten and extort my family for $200,000 and about $142,000 was ultimately stolen from my Stripe Account,” said Makis.

“It seemed they wanted to break me financially. It failed abysmally as my followers raised over $200,000 on my GiveSendGo Legal Fund. Since that financial attack has failed, they are escalating their attacks.

“The hacking attack on our server on June 24, 2025 lasted 3 days and resulted in almost 2000 emails from Cancer patients being lost. We recovered most of them but not all.”

Makis says it has taken him weeks to try and recover from this hacking attack and he and his staff are moving onto a different, more secure server to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

“But Premier Danielle Smith is now waging a full on war on Ivermectin and Cancer patients in Alberta and I need help in stopping these attacks, I can’t do this alone.”

Makis urged supporters to flood the Premier’s office with phone calls on 780-427-2251 in addition to Scott McLeod’s CPSA office on 780 969 4969, 1800 561 3899 ext. 4969 or to email him at scott.mcleod@cpsa.ab.ca.
