KEIR Starmers “smart young Labor things” have put their foot in it by posting on social media a plan to send 100 UK Labor Party staff to help Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign in four key states – North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
The most restrained rebuke to the plan came from Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene. “Hello UK Labor. Foreign nationals are not allowed to be involved in any way in US elections,” she posted on X.
“Please go back to the UK and fix your own mass immigration problems that are ruining your country. See next post for FEC (Federal Election Commission) laws.”
Less restrained was the meme showing an old picture of George Washington confronting British Red-Coat troops. “Everyone in red, get the f… out!” it proclaimed.
Molly Pitcher, the woman who posted it noted: “Sofia Patel is the Head of Operations for the UK’s left-wing Labour Party. She wants to bring around 100 British to the United States to actively interfere with our elections to get the communist and extreme left libtard Kamala Harris elected.”
The invitation was most certainly one of the dumbest diplomatic faux pas seen for some time. Ms Patel is obviously not very smart not to realise that foreign governments do not meddle in other countries’ elections – at least not openly.
For one thing, if “the wrong party” gets elected, you just put your government offside with a new administration, which could have all sorts of negative implications – not that that will be difficult for Starmer’s socialists to achieve anyway.
Right Angle News reported: In a shocking development, reports indicate that the Kamala Harris campaign is permitting over 100 members from the @UKLabour to interfere in the upcoming election.
“This blatant violation of U.S. law, specifically 52 U.S. Code § 30121, prohibits foreign nationals from contributing or providing any support in federal, state, or local elections. If you see anything please report it to your local authorities, perform a citizen arrest if you must!”
