Elon Musk’s Tesla is in the crosshairs, and the latest so-called “grassroots movement” against him is anything but organic. A former Wall Street Journal journalist has exposed a web of 24 organizations funneling money into what is now being called the “Tesla Takedown.” The campaign is a well-funded, carefully orchestrated effort by leftist NGOs, backed by billionaire donors, to discredit Musk and undermine Tesla. But as usual, the execution has been embarrassingly weak.
Gone are the days of massive, sweeping protests that once had the power to shift public sentiment. This new generation of agitators lacks both numbers and conviction. The era of professionally managed demonstrations—once fueled by government-linked groups like USAID—is fading. What remains is a hollowed-out activist network, still clinging to old tactics but failing to capture the public’s attention.
Elon Musk himself has noticed the pattern. As the protests fizzled out on Saturday, he posted a clip from Joe Rogan’s podcast, raising the crucial question: “Who is funding and organizing all these paid protests?” The answer isn’t hard to find. The usual suspects—Soros-linked groups like Indivisible—are at the center of it. The Democratic machine is running the same tired playbook, but the audience is no longer buying it.
Take a step back and look at the absurdity of it all. These groups, which spent years pushing the climate agenda, are now attacking the one company leading the charge in zero-emission vehicles. If logic played any role here, these activists would be celebrating Tesla, not trying to destroy it. But logic is in short supply. The reality is clear: this isn’t about the environment, it’s about control.
The protesters themselves seem confused. Ask them why they’re there, and most struggle to string together a coherent response. It’s a bizarre spectacle—manufactured outrage without substance. The people funding this nonsense are well aware that they’re losing. This isn’t about winning an argument; it’s about causing enough chaos to weaken a political opponent.
The writing is on the wall. These staged protests aren’t changing minds. If anything, they’re reinforcing the belief that the establishment is panicked. The same institutions that once dictated public discourse are now desperately throwing money at meaningless displays of opposition. Their influence is slipping, and they know it.
OMG, looks at this Tesla protest in Charlotte NC, it’s all old white Karen’s and their miserable low testosterone cucks 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/BCuEstNEwC
