It’s hard to ignore the everyday reality we’re living in. When you go to the store and see your coffee, eggs, or beef prices skyrocket, you can’t help but feel that something’s off. We’re constantly told the numbers don’t match up — inflation is “only” 3.75% for coffee, 25% for eggs, but reality paints a different picture. It’s not just about numbers on paper; it’s about our wallets, our budgets, our day-to-day lives. The government may try to downplay it with their CPI numbers, but ask anyone in the grocery store, and they’ll tell you the cost of living is crushing them. We’ve been left in the dark, fed lies, and forced to pay the price. It’s infuriating, to say the least.
Case study on why the public thinks inflation is higher than CPI: because it is.
Coffee 1y inflation: 113%. 23% in January alone & 4% today.
