There are some concerns regarding the cost and feasibility of this plan, but many hope it will address long-standing homeland security issues. The technology is inspired by Israel’s Iron Dome and is expected to significantly enhance U.S. defenses against various missile threats.
In an equally bold move, President Trump has declared a national emergency to tackle the growing threat posed by violent cartels. This executive order designates these cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). This designation allows the U.S. military to support federal, state, and local law enforcement in fighting against these groups, which have been involved in drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other violent crimes.
