IT’S time for Liberal Party members with an ounce of gumption to take a stand and walk from the party, following in the footsteps of Senator Gerard Rennick and Victorian MP Moira Deeming.
It has become abundantly clear that the Liberal-National Party of Australia is compromised and corrupted by woke lawyer-politicians who not only lack conservative principles, but oppose them.
A case in point is the Victorian Liberal Party, whose leader John Pesutto this week used his casting vote to expel former Liberal MP Moira Deeming from the parliamentary party. Deeming was forced to sit in Parliament as an independent after Pesutto and his followers expelled her over her role the Posie Parker’s Let Women Speak rally in Melbourne last year.
Deeming wants to rejoin the party, probably out of respect for her electors, but also because she was expelled on the basis of a lie. She won a defamation case against Pesutto who was found to have lied to his fellow Liberals in his accusations implying that Deeming was a Nazi sympathiser.
But at a party room meeting this week, Pesutto used his casting vote to break the 14-14 tied vote on her continued expulsion. Deeming called on Pesutto “to show himself man enough to apologise and accept me back into the party room”.
“Regrettably John Pesutto’s inability to admit his mistakes speaks volumes about his character and fitness for our state’s highest office,” she told Victorian media.
Deeming has learned a hard lesson about the reality of the Liberal Party of Australia that is dominated by so-called “moderates” and/or “centrists” who are basically leftists who would vote with Labor and the Greens on most social issues.
Pesutto, who is one of these so-called centrists, furiously attacked Deeming last l;year for being involved in a so-called “transphobic” rally and used the presence of a bunch of Nazi gatecrashers to defame her.
It appears Pesutto is sweet with Victoria’s LGBTQ lobby run by a tranny named Roz Ward from Labor’s Socialist Left faction. The Labor government spends more than $6 million annually pushing their diabolical agenda.
Former PM Tony Abbott condemned the Victorian Liberals in a post on X: “A shameful result from the Victorian Liberal party room. How can someone elected as a Liberal be expelled on the basis of a lie and not be readmitted once the truth is there for all to see? Especially right before Christmas, the season of goodwill, this is a truly contemptible failure to act with honour and decency.”
Cumberland City councillor Steve Christou says Victorian Liberals are a joke. “After a resounding court win by @MoiraDeemingMP Victorian Liberal MPs still voted to keep Moira Deeming out of the Liberal Party,” he posted on X.
“It’s shameful that Pesutto gets to use his casting vote to keep the MP he defamed out of the party room. Dutton needs to intervene in this mess. The Libertarians would be honoured to have such a talented person of morals and convictions in their ranks.”
