He asserts that during the 2016 presidential campaign, Clinton’s campaign paid over $1,000,000 to create the Steele dossier, which contained false allegations against Trump. Cruz argues that if Trump’s actions are considered criminal, then Clinton should also be held accountable for the same offense. Despite this, Cruz criticizes the GOP for not taking any action against Clinton.
